Elisa Contemporary Art was originally launched as Elisa Tucci Contemporary Art in November 2007 by Lisa Cooper and Joan Daidone — two marketing and media professionals with a life-long vision and passion for the arts.

We have seen and experienced the power of art to transform people lives — and are committed to presenting artists whose work engages us on an emotional, spiritual and/or intellectual level. Our new gallery model is the result of extensive research in contemporary art movements and studio tours throughout the US and internationally.

The Riverdale Gallery was opened by Lisa Cooper in September 2008.

In January 2010, Lisa Cooper continued independently as Elisa Contemporary Art.

Joan Daidone started her own art marketing venture.

Lisa Cooper

A born and bred New Yorker, art has always been an essential part of Lisa’s life as a collector, patron, supporter — and daughter of two accomplished artists. Her mother is a painter and jewelry designer, her father a business man with a passion for creating sculptures.

Professionally, Lisa has spent over 20 years in key strategic roles directing marketing communications campaigns for some of the world’s leading consumer brands, including IBM, JP Morgan Chase, Credit Suisse First Boston, and most recently, managing interactive and relationship marketing programs for Mercedes-Benz.

In her management roles, Lisa has leveraged all communications and media channels, from PR to Relationship Marketing to interactive and new media, to create innovative and award-winning campaigns and multi-media events that have generated greater awareness, interest and sales.

At Mercedes-Benz, Lisa was recognized for an award-winning Interactive TV campaign to launch the new M-Class, a multi-media global campaign to launch the R-Class and a strategic communications program designed to connect consumers with the type of vehicle that best fit their needs.

Lisa believes in the power of art to heal children's lives and has been an active volunteer and supporter of Free Arts NYC, an non-profit organization that works with children and their families in the New York.
